Awful for human good for doggie

Poor BooBoo!

At the start of summer BooBoo starts dragging on the leash outside, hanging back when we are walking and taking no interest in anything. This signals to us that he's getting overheated and needs a shave. The shave makes him look like a flying squirrel or an overgrown rat. Poor BooBoo... and to top it off Ginga is trying to pull his leash with his tail. Well we'd rather take happy BooBoo over pretty BooBoo any day... suggestions were made to shave Ginga but he would be at risk of a sunburn if we did that so I vetoed them.

Whoa - I wouldn't want to meet this BooBoo in a dark alley...

Poor BooBoo! I'm just glad he's more comfortable.
Even if he looks like he's been starved for years!

rohini :) it's ok in a dark alley, you wouldn't see him ha ha.

amrita he does look like a refugee from a war-torn country that was under major drought. Normally the hair covers it. But he's happy and he's the same weight he always was so we are happy too.

Well a dim alley if you must...

ha ha ok... we should work on his bark to make it a bit more scary and then we'll have a guard dog.

oh he looks perfectly fine and dandy :) must be so relieved. when my apso gets a haircut, am reminded that she actually has a forehead.. her eyes are usually buried in fur.

shilpa hey that looks like a lot of fun. One of our friends has a lhasa apso mix called biscuit who gets a summer cut - she's very cute with or without the hair.

e we'll definitely join - and we are part of dogs with blogs!
