That's funny :). The only downside is, as you know, that the stretching time is also GB's favorite time to forget proper social etiquette and share their gas efflux with the world.

e, amrita, and iamvisheshur - I'm sure that the yogis developed downward dog by watching dogs... there's no other explanation for calling it that. BooBoo does that in the morning and in the evening so I cannot call it the good morning pose. So for a while I was chasing BooBoo around with a camera every time he got up from a long rest. The problem with the camera is that it doesn't remember my flash settings and tries to turn it on all the time so it takes forever after clicking to actually get the picture. Which means that I missed the pose every time except finally got lucky (but cut off his arse in the process).

lova - as you notice I was not downwind of booboo when the photograph was taken... although being downwind of Ginga when something like this happens is far worse.

rose - yeah they're good at that too but there's a thousand shavasanam photos on the blog (not quite labeled as such) so didn't put one of those in. Thanks for visiting... how's the blogstipation (copyright ramya) going? Any photos of Micky around?

Nice one that... Doggies n yoga... What would you call the pose of the cat as it manages to fall on it's four legs no matter what height it falls from and what starting position?

I don't think there's a yoga pose for that - perhaps in nijitsu?
