ginga sick

Ginga last night had a little red swelling on one of his legs, with some plasma coming out when squeezed. It doesn't seem to hurt him, he's playing and running around like normal but it may be a little itchy. So he got a doctor's visit because I don't know what it is. He had a good time at the doctor's, running around smelling everyone and being cuddled by all the waiting people. Eventually he got weighed - he's 25 Kg, which makes him a few Kg heavier than when he last got weighed in August or so. I think it's all muscle ha ha ha. Anyway he finally saw the doctor who thought it was his front foot with the abscess. I told her about the back foot and she looked at it, pulled out a 10ml syringe and a small needle to aspirate some cells from the abscess. She put the needle in, G-man didn't even seem to notice, and aspirated some blood/cells. She was worried it might be a tumour :( so she looked at it under the microscope and just saw pus and cells, no tumour. Good that he saw the doc though, poor little guy. He has some antibiotics to take until the swelling goes down, but if it increases he has to go back for another visit. Very brave Ginga.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from Santa Boo and Santa Ginga, they are very happy because they went to the park for 2 hours and chased lots of squirrels and rabbits. Also they got a few cheesesticks and big biscuits!

हो हो हो!!! बू-बू और गिंगा की तरफ़ से क्रिस्तमस मुबारक। वह दो बहुत खुश हैं, आज दो घण्टों के लिए वह बाग़ मे घूमें और बहुत से खरगोश और गिलाह्री के पीच्छे दौड़े। आज तक एक भी उनसे पकड़ा नहीं गया लेकिन फिर भी वह कभी अपना जोश नहीं खोते। बू-बू आजकल पक्षियों के पीच्छे नहीं दौड़ता ह ह ह।

GB in the snow

Ginga and Boo-boo are enjoying in the snow! They would be out there all the time if it was up to them. I think they get more active in the -10 weather we were having, unlike us who don't want to do much. B behaved badly in the park today, escaping through a hole in the fence and chasing rabbits in some woods. Well that's understandable, but he wouldn't come when called and eventually had to be caught when he got tired. Bad boo-boo!!!! We also had a Sierra sighting, she escaped again, this time we found the owners quickly.

वह दोनों स्नो मे खेल रहे हैं। अगर उनकी सुनो तो वह बाहर -१० तापमान मे हमेशा रहने कॆ लिए तैयार हैं। हमारी तरह सुस्ती नहीं होती उनहें ठण्ड मे। आज बू-बू किसी खरगोश के पीछे दौड़ के दूर चला गया, तो उसके पीच्छे आधे घण्टे हम भागे। गिंगा भी दौडा था, लेकिन बुलाने पर वह वापस आ गया। और हम लोग सिएर्रा से भी फिर से मिले, वह फिर भाग आई। इस बार उसके लोगों से हम जलदी मिले।

Sierra

We had a visitor for a while yesterday - a black and white dog called Sierra. She found our guys on their morning walk and started playing with them and followed them home. With no owner in sight we bribed her with the doggies and cheesesticks :) so we could read her tag and find her owner and so that she wouldn't get hurt roaming around on the streets by herself. Well the tag led us to a phone number and a name (Sierra) but the wrong owner phone number. After calls to animal control and the humane society, we put her in another flat until her owners called us. Anyways we checked on her in the afternoon and took her to the nearby vet to see if they knew her, they gave us another number which was disconnected. So we were walking her back when some girls in a car stopped and asked if the husky was ours! So the owners found the doggie, they had no idea how she got out, but they bundled her up in the car and went away. Hope we see her again, but since we hadn't seen her before, I'm not sure if that will happen. She seemed to like wrestling with Ginga although he was a bit intimidated, I think she outweighs him by quite a lot! the G-man kept running under the living room table after wrestling for a little bit. She also kept blocking him from the people ha ha ha, so the shoe was on the other foot for a while for the Gingster. I'm sure the boo-boo was looking at him and laughing. Schadenfreude anyone?

कल सुबह गिंगा और बू-बू अपने एक दोस्त को घर लेकर आए। वह एक बड़ी सी सफ़ेद और काली हस्की थी जो ग़ुम हो गई थी। वह गिंगा और बू के साथ खेलते खेलते चली आई, तो हमने उसे पनीर की सहायता से अपने पास बुलाया ताकि उसके गले पर उसके लाकेट को देख सके। लाकेट पे एक नम्बर था, जिसे हमने दूरभाष से बुलाया। उनहोंने हमें कुत्तिया का नाम दिया - सिएर्रा - और उसकी माँ का भी नम्बर दिया। लेकिन उनके पास कुच्छ ग़लत नम्बर था तो हमने यहाँ के जानवर-गृह को सूचित किया कि हमारे पास किसी गुम होने वाली कुत्तिया है। काम पे जाने से पहले हम सिएर्रा को एक और घर मे छोड़ आए। दोपहर को हम फिर आए उसे चलने ले जाने के लिए तो हमने वही किया, अपने पास वाले वैध के यहाँ ले गए, शायद उन्हे पता हो कि सिएर्रा के माता-पिता कौन हैं। उन्होंने भी एक नम्बर दिया जो काम नहीं कर रहा था, तो हम कुत्तों को वापिस ले गए। वापस चलते चलते एक गाड़ी हमारे पास रुकी और उन्होंने पूच्छा कि हस्की हमारी है या नहीं। तो उसी गाड़ी मे सिएर्रा चली गई। इससे पहले हमने उसे कभी देखा नहीं था और शायद इसके बाद हम न देख पाऐं। गिंगा और वह बहुत अच्छी तरह खेल रहे थे, लेकिन गिंगा थोड़ा डरा हुआ था क्योंकी वह उससे बहुत बड़ी थी। मेरे ख़याल से बू-बू यह देख के हँस रहा था, क्योंकी उसे गिंगा से यही झेलना पड़ता है। वह दोनों लेकिन एक दूसरे के बिना रह नहीं सकते, बहुत उदास हो जाते हैं। अच्छा हुआ कि सिएर्रा की माँ मिल गई, उन्हे भी बहुत चिन्ता हुई होगी।

ബൂ-ബൂ പുറന്നാള്

आज बू-बू का जन्मदिन था, उसे हम पेट-स्मार्ट ले के गए अपने लिए कोई खिलोना लेने के लिए, लेकिन उसे कुच्छ भी पसंद नहीं आया। तो हमने उसे एक बड़ी सी हड्डी दी और वह उसने खाया। उसके बाद पता चला कि कुत्तों के लिए हड्डियाँ अच्छी नहीं होती, अगर पूरी हो तो। उसके छोटे छोटे पीस उनके पेट मे जाकर रुक जाते हैं। २ हफ़्ते बाद गिंगा का भी जन्मदिन है, शायद उसके लिए हम एक बड़ा सा तकिया ले सकते हैं।

ഇന്ന് ബൂ-ബൂവിന്റേ പുറന്നാള് ആയിരുന്നൂ, അവന് ഒരു കളിപ്പാട്ടം വാങിക്കാന് നമ്മള് കഡയില് പൊയി, പക്ഷേ അവാന് ഒന്നും വെണ്ഡായിരുന്നൂ. അപ്പൊള് നമ്മള് എല്ല് കൊഡുതൂ, കഴിച്ച് കഴിഞാണ്ണ് മനസ്സിലായത് പട്ടിക്കള്ക്ക് ഏല്ല് അത്റേയും നല്ലതല്ല. ചേറിയ് ഏല്ലുകള് വയറ്റില് ഇരിക്കും. ൨ ആഴിച്ച് കഴിഞ് ഗിംഗായിന്റേ പുറന്നാള് ആണ്ണ്, പുളിക്കാരന് കുഷ്യന് വാങിക്കാം.

भारत और लंका

श्री लंका की टीम क्या कर रही है? १२२ कोई स्कोर हुआ क्या? इससे पहले शायद भारत भी उनके हाथों बुरी तरह से हारा होगा शायद। लगता है कि दादा के न होने के कारण टीम अच्छा खेल रहा है, या तो फिर तेन्दला के वापसी के कारण कुच्छ अच्छा खेल रहे हैं। मुझे लगता है कि कुच्छ साल बाद इर्फान कप्तान और युवराज वईस-कप्तान बन कर रहेंगे। चलो, इस बार वळ्ड कप तो जीतना ही होगा।
